Preclinical & Translational services

Preclinical & Translational services for Pharma Companies, CROs, Biotech's and Basic Research Groups

Our preclinical and translational research experience in sarcoma is now offered for external clients. These investigations can be critical for addressing more properly and, in a more successful way, drug developments in sarcoma field. A substantial number of drugs have dropped throughout their development on sarcoma, in part due by the lack of predictive biomarkers or the lack of robust preclinical investigation.

SRS provides wide range services for preclinical and translational research, the generated knowledge in preclinical and translational analysis might leverage the clinical development of your drug in a more straightforward road. Studying critical components of tumor microenvironment starting from matrix composition, can be helpful for a wider therapeutic strategy (i.e. combinations, immune modulators).

Lastly, transcriptomic studies using HTG technology that offers the highest correlation with protein expression, is offering now a complete spectrum of gene analysis. For clients just interested in transcriptomic, it is not necessary to focus just on sarcoma. We also provides bioinformatic analysis. Guided by David Moura, Scienttific Officer.

SRS will provide services for:

1. In vitro experiments with sarcoma cell lines for testing drugs in monotherapy or in combination

2. In vitro experiments with sarcoma cell lines for predictive biomarkers and mechanistic studies

3. In vitro co-cultures with sarcoma cell lines for exploring relevance of the microenvironment components.

4. In vivo experiments with sarcoma PDX models for drug testing and biomarker studies

5. Translational research in tumor samples

6. Bioinformatic support.
